As experienced balloon decorators we know only too well the hazards and risks involved when someone inhales helium. However, it would appear that this message is not is not getting across to the general public. The media have a lot to answer for in this respect. Seeing major TV celebrities playing with helium and having “fun” make it almost impossible to get across the seriousness of such actions.
As responsible professionals we feel it is our duty to make our customers and people in general the dangers of inhaling helium. We know it is amusing to hear the squeaky voice acquired when helium is inhaled but;
